Back in the Editor’s Chair

Hey guys - I'm back!

I can't believe it's been 10 years since I was sitting in the Editor's chair working on the Smart Homes, Parenting Today and Fine Cuisine magazines with my great team of writers, graphic designers and photographers. Now I'm back, with a brand new little content studio of creatives —S/O to my team of Cara, Carolyn, Leigh and Samantha. Guys, we did it! We got the first one out the door!

Last Friday we launched a new biweekly newspaper feature to highlight all the major stories in the tourism industry. This way, instead of just relying on journalists to tell and shape the story, we’ll take the stories directly to the public.

For this first feature, we chose to set the stage with a map to give a high-level overview of all the areas we plan to break down every two weeks. So far the feedback we’ve gotten is that is engaging, interactive and absolutely different from what people have seen before — and we love that.

Our first Friday feature published in the local newspapers on March 25, 2022

In the coming weeks we’ll be doing more to promote the features including giveaways and even guests columnists. This is a whole new space for us and we couldn’t be more excited.
